Womb Wisdom in the Red Tent
The Red Tent is a grass root movement, and Red Tents are as varied as the women holding them. DeAnna's Red Tents are focused on the Wisdom of our Womb. In order to offer Womb Wisdom to other women, we need first to Reclaim our Own Womb as a seat of our power. DeAnna's conversation with Susun will focus on the power of our womb and how to cultivate it.
---------------Fondly known as 'Womb Visionary' DeAnna begun offering Menstrual Empowerment to women in the early 1990's. She has been on the leading edge of the global Red Tent Movement since its beginning, and has trained women in over 30 countries.
DeAnna brought Menstrual Empowerment work to Israel, her country of origin, helping Jewish and Palestinian women surpass political or religious differences, by deeply bonding around their shared Cyclical nature. DeAnna authored 'Becoming Peers - Mentoring Girls Into Womanhood', and 'A Diva's Guide to Getting Your Period'. She founded ~ Red Tents In Every Neighborhood - Global Network; ~ The Red Tent Academy; ~ Red Moon School of Empowerment for Women & Girls; ~ and International Red Tent Day (celebrated globally on November 8)
